GC Universe

GC Universe is a project within the Play Create Own ecosystem. It provides the substance layer of the system through Stars and Suns.

GCU is the abbreviation for GC Universe.

Stars and elements

Stars and Suns are NFTs. They can be staked, and when they are staked, they can emit elements. At the beginning, the most relevant elements are Helium and Hydrogen.

A Star is not just a collectible. A Star is an emitter. It can produce digital substance for the ecosystem.

Elements as substance

The elements are not simple game currency. They are digital substance. They can be needed in the creator economy and in deeper gaming mechanics, for example to unlock functions or support creation.

When elements are used, they are consumed. They do not stay in circulation forever, and they are not created from nothing.

How value moves

Value does not simply appear in the system. It enters through emission, exchange, usage, and real demand. If someone needs elements, they can acquire them. After platform, payment, and distribution costs, the remaining value flows back into the ecosystem.

This creates a cycle: Stars emit elements, elements are needed and consumed, demand creates exchange, and the value from that exchange flows back to support further development. Consumption keeps the system from inflating endlessly.

The detailed properties of individual Stars, such as how much they emit and over what period, are communicated when they are ready. We describe them here as they become solid.
